To promote the upcoming release of Wonka, Warner Bros. Pictures and Xbox teamed up to craft an edible chocolate controller, as well as a candy bar-inspired console and storefront display to be given away to one lucky winner via sweepstakes. I must find that golden ticket!
To enter the contest, you just need to follow Xbox on X (formally Twitter) and retweet (re-X?) the official sweepstakes post with the hashtag #XboxWonkaSweepstakes. One lucky winner will receive the chocolate bar console and Wonka storefront display stand, as well as an edible chocolate Xbox controller (wrapped in gold just like Wonka Bars) and a functional one inspired by Wonka’s purple coat from the film. Dang, so it’s winner-take-all all, huh? I was hoping to at least just get a chocolate controller.
Will the prize winner quickly turn around and sell their prizes on eBay? One can only hope. And I also hope I don’t pay for a chocolate controller with a bite out of it either, or I will be leaving a negative eBay review.
