these keyboards won’t strain your wrists: computer keyboard chair

We featured a chair made of recycled CDs a while back; I’m pretty sure that chair will carve markings on your ass after just ten minutes of sitting. I’d rather sit on this computer keyboard armchair. It’s equally geeky but far more comfortable. I think. “Sit on a keyboard” is a thought that never crossed my mind.

Called “Text-ile”, the armchair was made by designers Dante Bonuccelli and Lamm for the 2009 UMUL (Use More, Use Less) project, a workshop dedicated to incorporating recycling in design.

The chair is made of 40 computer keyboards that were obtained from a company that makes laptops for blind people. I’m starting to think that this one’s no good as well; the keys would make too much noise. Do you think a trackball chair would be better? Perhaps an LCD screen chair?
