Goldfish Music Video Loves Retro Games
May 23rd, 2011
The new music video for the band Goldfish perfectly captures the spirit of classic 8-bit and 16-bit console and arcade games in a tidy little package. The music video for We Come Together makes reference to many classic games, as well as a few other pop culture icons, as well as some more recent memes like Keyboard Cat, with a little Kenny G thrown in for good measure.

The video was created by Mike Scott along with a 14 pixel artists from around the globe, as well as 3D voxel artists, chiptunes and a little bit of claymation thrown in for good measure. Watch the awesome video below, then see if you can name all the different gaming and geeky references in the clip. Bonus points for that voxelized Cactaur.
Right from the the SEGA-ized opening logo and sound, I knew this video would be great, and I’m just glad that the tune is just as great as the animation itself. I’ll be adding this track to iTunes tonight.

This one is good. I watched some music videos in wally.tv. That is really fantastic. You can find the most popular singer such as lady gaga and justin bieber.

THis video seriously brought me back! I also found a video that IDs some of the games (though they missed OREGON TRAIL.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PUvuAADA28
