While we generally associate luxury with brands that flaunt their products, a whole other tier is reserved for the super-elite. Some brands like to have an air of exclusivity around them and take a more “quiet luxury” approach, so you might not have heard about them unless you’re in one of their target audiences.

1. Sunseeker

Have you ever wondered where the rich get their yachts? Many wealthy people buy theirs from Sunseeker, a British luxury brand reserved for the elite.

Their website doesn’t list the prices; you have to contact the local dealer. Their products are estimated to cost millions of dollars. One James Bond movie features a yacht from Sunseeker.

2. Brunello Cucinelli

According to Forbes, Brunello Cucinelli was an engineering dropout who started his brand with a $550 loan in 1978.

He’s widely regarded as the “King of Cashmere.” Today, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, and Instagram’s Kevin Systrom have been reported to get their clothes from this Italian designer brand, where one pair of sweatpants can cost up to $2,500.

Christie’s isn’t a new brand, but you may never have heard of them. The company started in 1766 and is present in 46 countries.

It is primarily known for selling luxury art. Unlike regular art galleries, these prices range from $500 to over $100 million, so even selling a kidney won’t be enough to buy an art piece.
