Today’s smartphones often come with cameras that as good as digital cameras. In fact, some phone’s shooters produce images that are even better in quality than those shot with point-and-shoots. TheQ camera almost looks like a toy, with all it’s bright and vibrant colors. It’s more than a decent shooter but it’s being marketed as a truly social camera, since it comes with built-in 3G connectivity. That means you can basically share the shots that you’ve taken directly from the camera, just as you would with your smartphone. As an added bonus, TheQ is waterproof to 3 meters (~10 feet) so you can snap some underwater pics with it too. If you’re keen on filters, then you can edit your images as you please by accessing TheQ Lab online.

TheQ camera retails for £149.99 (~ $256 USD) and is available for pre-order online. They’ll be shipping out this August.
