If there’s one thing Nintendo knows how to do, it’s sell products. Cold Stone Creamery teamed up with the video game giant to sell ice cream sundaes themed after some of their most popular games. I don’t know about you, but I’m already waiting outside my local Cold Stone waiting for them to open so I can try them all.

The game Animal Crossing: New Horizons is all the rage with Nintendo Switch players these days. If you’re a fan of the series, then here’s a cool way to store and display your game system. Etsy artist Violet Senpai makes these awesome 3D-printed Animal Crossing island docks, which have been lovingly painted to look like they came right out of the popular world-building game, and look great alongside your Amiibo characters too.

Here’s a fun idea for a gamer gift. Several NeoGAF forum members, egged on by member dog$, made custom video game-themed t-shirt designs that are funny, witty and most of all, ugly. The t-shirts are based on a custom clothing shop called CustomInk, which has an online T-shirt design tool.

I’ve yet to play Animal Crossing: New Leaf – or any Animal Crossing game for that matter – because I’m afraid that I won’t be able to put my 3DS down if I get that game.

It seems Nintendo has taken Wesley Snipes’ advice and bet on black. Nintendo has announced that it will be launching a new black version of the 3DS XL, known as the 3DS LL in Japan, on November 1.

The world is tragically short on Animal Crossing crafts. Sure, occasionally someone turns up with a KK Slider plush or a handmade knick-knack, but the adorable world of Animal Crossing should be everywhere. It should be up there with Katamari Damacy and Loco Roco–at least, visually–but for the most part, Animal Crossing is MIA from the geek craft scene… which is why we have to cherish these things when they do finally turn up.
