Let’s be honest, Hollywood doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to adapting video game properties to movies. I’m looking directly at you Dwayne Johnson and that sorry excuse for a Doom movie. Now we have a couple more video game movies set to go into production starring some big names.

Like the Splinter Cell series? Here’s a clever design for some Sam Fisher-inspired jewelry to feed you fan-boy or fan-girls out there. Designed to look like Fisher’s iconic 3-sensor nightvision headgear, the ring is still just a concept design.

I’m sure a lot of you have heard about OnLive, the gaming service that streams games to you from computers much more powerful than yours. Lots of people – myself included – were skeptical about the quality of service that it could provide.

A official post on the UbiSoft community forums confirms the the anxiously awaited Splinter Cell Double Agent for the Xbox 360 and PC will be released on October 19th, 2006. Also revealed was an Xbox 360 multiplayer demo in the works for the Xbox Live Marketplace, and single/multiplayer demos for the PC both to be available around the end of September or so.
