Jetson ONE Personal eVTOL Makes 63MPH Test Flight Over Desert

He's disassembled countless appliances and managed to put a few back together, and one still works. The Jetson ONE is a $128,000 personal electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicle capable of transporting a single passenger. Do I want one? Of course, I do, but I also know it will be my last purchase because after spending $128,000, I won’t have enough cash left over for a crash helmet.

The Jetson ONE features four dual sets of rotors capable of carrying its aluminum and carbon fiber body (plus a human) at speeds up to 63MPH. On a full battery charge, you can expect about 20 minutes of flight time, or just enough to get somewhere but not back again. But hey, it’s electric—just plug it in, and you’ll be back in the sky in no time! And by no time, I mean an hour of charging at 220V or two hours at 110V.

All available Jetson ONEs for 2024 and 2025 have already sold out, but if you’re interested in one in 2026 (and the world hasn’t ended by then), an $8,000 deposit will secure your right to buy one at that time. And, if you have $128,000 of disposable income, can you think of a better way to spend it? Treat yourself to a taste of the future.
