If you’re feeling nostalgic for the game systems of the 80’s, but still want all that the latest consoles have to offer, look no further than the Retro Revolution skin for the Nintendo Wii.

NES Wii Skin from DecalGirl

DecalGirl’s 8-bit NES skin for the Wii is made out of vinyl and features a protective gloss coating. It runs $14.99 and matching skins are available for the Wii-mote and Nunchuck controllers. As an added bonus, your Wii will now get the name it really deserved, “Revolution.”

I don’t think that skin is very well done. A very neat idea, but I think they could have done better. If I see a neat skin for Wii I may pick one up, but right now I’m happy with it just being small, out of the way, simple and sleek visually, and a whole lot of fun.

What an outstanding console. Play it while it’s fun, hack it till it’s free. Oh yeah.
