the worst remote control ever

If you’re looking for the ultimate gag gift for the home theater buff in your life, you’ve gotta check this remote control out. This new universal remote control is guaranteed to make ‘em cringe.

The $15 remote control features the likeness of Sesame Street’s most annoying character of all time, Elmo. It’s got big soft candy-like buttons and is shaped like Elmo holding a big pink or orange heart. I can only pray that it doesn’t make any of those wretch-inducing Tickle Me Elmo sound effects when you press a button.
If you ever catch me using one of these to control my system, please put me out of my misery.

My 2-year-old daughter will love this. Maybe I’ll get her two of them. I just hope it has a Tivo “thumbs up” button.
Don’t do it!
For kids maybe would be a good product, but for others … NO WAY.
Ha, that’s fantastic! Oh, Elmo makes the world a better, happier place.
What a dumb invention. Worst remote control ever is right! Our landfills are full of BS like this. Little novelties that provide barely *minutes* of entertainment. How about an Elmo coffee machine? Or a Grape Ape Blender? If you want your kids to be intelligent, limit the cozy, childish junk like this and bring them into the real world as early as possible, after nurturing them in their very young years. Frank Lloyd Wright grew up with blocks to play with. His son invented Lincoln Logs. Give your kid an erector set, not a frikin Elmo couch potato gift! Pathetic.
wats ur problem? they r for kids!!! u dnt neeed to have an attitude. and if u wanna talk about lazyness and couch potatos then YOU get in the real world! get off the computer buddy!!
