zelda cosplay: now for the whole family

Zelda fans have been with Link through the ages, so why limit cosplay to individuals old enough to choose for themselves? Presenting the Link costume for babies:

Not that I can say much–my son was a moogle for his first Halloween. And all japes aside, this outfit is beautifully well made. Kind of makes me wish I could knit, but unless I’m holding a game controller, my fingers are pretty stupid.

This little outfit was made by craftster UpKnitCreek (heh) for a friend’s baby shower. That’s the kind of friend you keep forever, and the sort of outfit you store away forever, too. Oh, how convenient. The gift also included a baby blanket… and a box to keep it all in.

Raise your hand if you want to be UpKnitCreek’s friend. Consider my hand up. Way up.

Adorable! If I had a kid, I’d dress it up in this and take photos, photoshop them into dungeon and forest scenes, and earn internet fame for a day.

My first child MUST have this.

I think I may want one is my size, too.
