These smartly designed iPhone (3G/3GS/iPod Touch) cases embrace not only a simple and elegant design philosophy, they’re actually quite practical too.

Designed by Minneapolis textile artist Angie Davis of Byrd & Belle, these unique iPhone cases protect your precious digital cargo inside a thick and cushy blanket of Merino wool felt and a soft Egyptian cotton interior lining. The grey and orange fabric is set off nicely by a simple leather strap, which not only serves to secure your iPhone, but also provides a convenient cord wrap for your headphones. No more wire tangles – hoorah!

Best of all, the Byrd & Belle iPhone case is reasonably priced. Each handmade case sells for just $19 (USD) and can be found over at their Etsy shop. Be sure to check out their nifty felt and leather laptop sleeves while you’re over there.

Could these BE any uglier? Seriously, grey and orange? PUKE!
These are pretty seriously ugly. I’m a fan of clean design, but grey and orange is NOT a color scheme I can say I’m all for.
Well I never said design aesthetics weren’t subjective. I happen to like the color scheme and materials.
Booooooring!
I think these are very nifty, well-designed and the colors pop. cool idea.
Do they fit an iphone with a small case around them. Mine never leaves home without protection And, is the snap strong enough to use as a belt loop?
I think these are lovely, and the color scheme is modern yet classic. However, they look like they’re more suited to the iPod video nano than an iPhone or iTouch. I’d like to see an image that shows an actual iPhone or iTouch in the case.
Wonderful craftsmanship.

Looks like they have an iPod and an iPhone version, so maybe the photos are actually of the iPod variant.
These are lovely–very simple and elegant. Nothing at all wrong with orange and gray. Have you ever looked at the color of your iPod?!
