I think this is an extremely smart idea. It’s a dock that transforms your iPhone into a desk phone. It’s perfect for everyone that uses the iPhone as their main telephone.

Even though most people use their iPhone a lot, it’s true that many of us still have land line or an IP phone on their desk. With the Desk Phone Dock, you can use your iPhone as your sole telephone.

What’s cool is that you can call and receive phone calls like any traditional phone using the desktop handset. It also works as an audio and charging dock for your iPhone and has two built-in speakers, a mic, a prominent volume control knob, and an instant mute feature.  It’s not available yet, but is expected to be released in the near future.
