Nintendo 3DS Concept is Awesome
April 5th, 2010
I really like Olivier Demangel‘s take on the Nintendo DS. It’s true that the DSi XL has got larger screens, but Olivier’s design makes them even bigger. He calls it the Nintendo 3DS, which happens to be the name Nintendo has been using for their upcoming 3D console.

Olivier is a 3D artist and I like what he did with the DS. The dual widescreens look like they’re each about the size of a PSP display. Sure the DSi XL is cool, but wouldn’t you like to have even bigger screens, and 3D, glasses-free images?

All and all, we hope that Nintendo takes a peek at these designs and uses them as inspiration for their real 3DS design!

i love when a new console is going to be announced. concept art comes out of the woodworks.
i think the 3ds should have a sliding design(kind of like the psp go, only the screen sliding up though.
I hate fan made renditions like this cause they are a tease, and when the real product comes out it looks like crap.
