DIY Remote Control Changes Channels When You Fart

I am willing to bet that growing up your dad thought it was funny to rip a smelly fart when you were sitting nearby. If you have someone living in your home that likes cut the cheese, you might want to play a trick on them this remote control that changes to random channels when they pass gas.
The remote control is built using an Arduino controller wired to a methane sensor as the main components. You can even enclose the remote in a case of some sort if you want to hide it in the cushions.
I can just imagine this thing in action. Dad lets one rip. The channel changes from the Jets game to the Real Housewives of New Jersey. He says, “What the hell.” He farts again. The channel switches back just in time for the big play. I love technology.
