Heineken Beerbot Can Be Yours (for a Price)

This seems like every guy’s dream – a robot that drives around, pouring beer. Originally exhibited at the Kinetica Art Fair in London, this awesome Heineken beer-pouring robot can now be yours – if the price is right.

The Heineken beer robot was built by the Autonomous Systems Lab at Middlesex University, and has at its core a Heineken 5L DraughtKeg. It’s powered by a pair of 12VDC motors, one servo, infrared and ultrasonic sensors, and has Pic-based processor for a brain. When fully-loaded with a keg, measures 15.75″ (H) x 11.8″ (W) x 11.8″ (D), and pours a perfect glass of beer every time.

We’re not sure if the guys who built it are making more than one of these, or if Kinetica is selling off the original, but the Heineken Beerbot is available for purchase in their shop for £2,195.00 (~$3615 USD). Before you empty your checking account, check it out in action below:

Time to take out a second mortgage, I suppose.
