Zelda Playing Cards Introduce a Fifth Suit
July 8th, 2011
Even though I’m not a Zelda fan, I really loved Ben Howard’s Zelda chess set because of the wonderful character designs, which all fit their assigned roles nicely. But I now have a new Zelda and analog game mashup favorite, even though they’re still a concept: Zelda playing cards by deviantART member Nelde.

I love the use of the Triforce as a suit, and the art on the Ace, my goodness. I’m seriously considering having the Ace of Triforces tattooed on my arm.

As you can see Nelde drew Ganon, Zelda and Link in the traditional playing card style. I have to say though that the look of Jack of Triforces Link is the least awesome of the three for me.

Nelde also made matching versions of the cards from 1 to 10, but is still waiting for feedback before uploading them. If you liked this art – and why the hell wouldn’t you?! – show Nelde your appreciation and comment on his deviantART page, where you’ll also find higher quality versions of the pictures.
