Designer Richard Lawson has created the oh-so-simple LED lights that clip on the top of an ordinary 9-volt battery.
Originally designed for a Mathmos-sponsored design competition, they’re now available for you to purchase for the first tim. Each little light starts out white, but glows in either blue or white when you turn it on…

Dutch artist Lonneke Gordijn of Drift has created these beautiful little lights which create an amazing synergy between technology and nature.
The Dandelight combines a 9-volt battery, an LED, phoshphorusbronze and a real dandelion head to create a fragile, but stunning light source.
