Oh, Rickrolling, aren’t we finished with you yet? Apparently not, since there is now an Instructables post on how to make a sneaky Rickroll birthday cake.
The cake was made by one Papersatan (a pretty fitting name for a perpetrator of Astley-based crimes, eh?) for her boyfriend’s birthday…

This Mario and Princess Peach wedding cake is quite possibly the finest piece of video game pastry work I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a quite a few.
Flickr contributor M.A.L. had this Mario Kart-inspired custom cake made for his recent wedding…

This has got to be one of the strangest iPod accessories I’ve ever seen. Just slip your iPod Nano into this camouflage jacket, and it’ll look just like a hunk of pricey (and delicious) Kobe beef…

Star Wars fans, here’s another oddity to add to your shrine to all things Jedi and Sith. These candy lightsabers won’t cut through flesh and bone, but they sure will satisfy your sweet tooth.
Hasbro’s Star Wars Candy Lightsabers are based on the authentic movie weapon designs for Darth Vader (red) and Anakin Skywalker (blue)…

If you’re like me, you probably killed more than a few weekends back in the Fall playing Portal. As you probably know by now, the cake promised as the reward for completing all the puzzles was a big fat lie…

Check out this tasty realization of the classic Apple rainbow logo, made entirely out of fresh fruit.
Richard Thomas’ clever creation is made from sliced kiwis, bananas, oranges, strawberries, green and red grapes and blueberries.
Ironically, not a single apple found its way into the picture.

Two of my favorite pastimes, waffles and Tetris have joined forces in this, my favorite photo of the week.
I’m guessing that you could slow down those rapidly descending breakfast blocks with just a little butter and maple syrup. And there’s nothing quite like a little paper napkin technology for keeping score…

Remember the Robosaurus? Let me refresh your memory. The gigantic robotic dinosaur looks like a metal, fire-breathing Tyrannosaurus Rex, and might be just about as fierce. Capable of picking up cars, then crushing them with its razor-sharp jaws, I certainly wouldn’t want to run into one in a back alley…

I think these goofy guys look more like space aliens than monsters, but you get the point. Put your money in the mouth of these Money Monsters and they’ll gulp it down without so much as a “thank you”.
While they might not be polite, that doesn’t mean the Money Monsters aren’t vocal…

Star Wars may be over 30 years old, but that hasn’t stopped those LucasFilm merchandising folks from cranking out fresh ideas. That’s why I’m absolutely loving these R2 unit pepper mills.
Imagine having the boss over for dinner, asking if he’d like some pepper on his salad, then whipping out one of these little droids…

On a day that was loaded with announcements of fun and interesting new Wii accessories like the Wii Zapper and the Wii Fit Balance Board, comes the most unusual add-on I’ve seen in a while, NYKO’s Wii Party Station.
It’s hard to describe the Party Station. Think of the $25 accessory as a “plugged in” party tray…
