The artist says that the outside won’t burn so you can reuse the candle with a tealight inside…

Check out this amazingly precise needlepoint inspired by Super Mario Brothers. Artist Lauren Yakiwchuk must have had the patience of a saint to pull off the detail in this scene from the Nintendo classic platformer.
It took Lauren about 30 hours to complete this 9″ x 11″ scene from SMB, handstitching the entire piece from scratch…

I’m not sure how you handmake temporary tattoos, but Etsy artist michibags seems to know how. (I’m guessing it’s done with special inkjet paper and ink). Her latest creation is these temp tats of everyone’s favorite little Italian plumber, Mario…

Here’s an interesting tidbit of recent history for any electronic musicians out there. A couple of years back, a strange little company called Chromatone thought it was time for an overhaul of the traditional 88 keys on pianos (or less on many synthesizers.)
The Chromatone CT-312 keyboard has literally hundreds of individual, unlabeled keys…

I came across this cool 3-dimensional LEGO sculpture of everyone’s favorite video game plumber (sorry Luigi) over on TechEBlog this morning. It must have take days for the artist to painstakingly recreate all of Mario’s details…
