It seems only natural to me that you’d want to beat the crap out of Darth Vader with a baseball bat, right? That’s why you need to go grab one of these Darth Vader piñatas before your next party.

While many have complained of the poor image quality of photos from the iPad 2, the iPhone 4’s 5-megapixel rear camera and LED flash is actually pretty decent. So if you are gonna use your iPhone 4 for capturing photos, why not have it look the part?

Minecraft’s blocks can easily substitute for pixels. Add colored blocks in the mix and players can imitate the look of early video games. Here’s one such example, Minecrafta2z’s Pac-Man remake:

I haven’t played with Play-Doh in years, but that didn’t stop Chevy from promoting their new Orlando MPV on the streets of London this week by making a 1:1 scale model out of the popular modeling clay.

After all of the different hacked LEGO USB minifig flash drives out there, LEGO has released official USB minifigs, and they look pretty good. They can only store up to 2GB, but the flash drive is hidden inside the minifig.

There are already several universal remote control applications on the market for the iPhone and iPad today. The new Peel is now shipping and it looks like a slick little device, though the oddly-shaped hardware portion of the universal remote reminds me of a pear.

I’m liking this new thick acrylic shelf that can be mounted underneath your desk for either your Mac Mini or a Time Capsule hard drive. It’s the perfect way to clear your desktop, if you like to keep things tidy.

The iPad 2 was just released on Friday and a lot of people have already been getting rid of their old iPads so that they can get the new ones. Thanks to (paltry) new cameras, and slimmer body on the iPad 2, you’ll also need a new case.

I have never had a great memory. I tend to pack my brain with all sorts of facts, and the facts least important to my daily life are the ones that stick. I really hated middle school when the lockers in athletics used Master locks that had combinations.

The second a new gadget comes out, you can always rely on the iFixit guys to rip it apart the same day. They’re actually still putting the finishing touches on their iPad 2 teardown, but it’s complete enough now to share some of the pics and details found inside.

I think we all know today that the CCFL light bulb is a greener alternative to the normal light bulb. The fluorescent bulbs have some bad things about them though. The look weird, they have weird light color, and they are more expensive than incandescent bulbs.

I am not a golfer. I don’t play mini-golf, and I don’t play golf video games well either. I have tried my hand at Golden Tee and failed miserably on more than one occasion. But if you are a serious fan of the arcade classic Golden Tee, the latest competition from the company is set to kick off soon.

Modders really love the Nintendo 64 – the sheer number of portable mods we’ve featured here on the site tells us that much. Hailrazer is no stranger to the portable console scene, and he’s back with another beautifully done portable N64 mod, which he calls the N64Boy Advance, which is pretty appropriate considering how it looks:
