Avengers Assemble.. .a cool lamp. Scared of the dark? Then you need a hero to protect you and push back the curtain of night. Supervillians will flee into the shadows when the light of this Iron Man lamp shines on them.
There are all sorts of docks available for your iPad, but this one is about twice the price of a basic 16GB iPad, so it’s definitely in a league of it’s own. This designer dock, created by electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre, is called the AeroPad Two.
These new cases Bowden and Sheffield cases are minimal and handcrafted. The cases were the brainchild of Levi Price and Eric Rea, after they couldn’t find a case that was minimal and offered enough protection, without being permanently paired with the iPad.
None of us ever want to experience an airplane crash first-hand, but you’ll soon have the opportunity to learn what happens inside and outside a commercial airliner when it does crash, thanks to the Discovery Channel.
I get that women need to carry around their iPhones, but this is the first time that I’ve seen an accessory that will allow you to carry around your iPhone in a bra! It was created to allow women to still have a way to carry their iPhones when they don’t want to have to lug their purses around.
I don’t sign up for a lot of things – one of the many benefits of being antisocial and reclusive! – but when I do, I hate the CAPTCHA part. I know that accomplishing it is very simple, but there are just times when the text it wants me to spell is so mangled that I couldn’t possibly guess it right, making me doubt if I am indeed a person.
Side scrolling games are still some of my favorites of all time. Whether it’s MegaMan, or Rayman, there’s just something so special about discovering what’s next as you continue on your left-to-right quest through a game’s universe.
As crude as Fallout‘s post-apocalyptic technology seems, it’s proven quite hard to replicate the game’s PIP-Boy in real life. We’ve seen one prototype that looks exactly like the PIP-Boy 3000, but it appears to have no real world application.
Handheld weapon maker Patrick Priebe aka AnselmoFanZero is back with another laserrific armament. It’s a revolver with a design inspired by the Settler Pistol from the FPS game Rage, but with less grime and more brass.
Majora’s Mask was one of my favorite Zelda games from back in the day – not quite topping The Ocarina of Time, but still a solid storyline with some excellent gameplay. While I had plenty of fun running around in this game, the moon that would get closer and closer to the town as night went on would always give me terrible nightmares.
If you’ve ever been asked to have a radiograph of your body taken, then you know that X-ray machines are quite large and even the portable ones are carried by large vans. Until now. Japanese company Mikasa recently introduced a battery-powered X-ray machine that’s small enough to be carried by hand.
A company called Planetary Resources has made itself known, stating that they want to mine asteroids for natural resources. This of course raises a few questions: how exactly will they accomplish this task? What are the risks involved in space mining?
Here’s a trollish concept for a doorbell by designer Bobby Petersen called the Door Knocker. When you press its button you’ll hear three knocks instead of a ding or a dong. It’s not a recorded knocking sound either: the contraption will actually knock on the door.
While Darth Vader and a few Stormtroopers might be dead already, and Boba Fett (nearly) perished in the Sarlacc pit, many of the other Star Wars characters have lived on. But if you’re to believe these images by artist Jeff Hulligan, several key characters are now among the dead (or the undead, if they’re Star Wars zombies.)
