Once in a while, you need to sit down. It doesn’t matter whether you’re standing in line some government office or are watching a concert. If you need to sit, you need to sit. You can’t exactly plop down to the floor at will, because you’re not a kid anymore. But what you can do is clear up enough space so you can fan out the Fold Chair and take a seat.
From the looks of it, the Fold Chair squishes up when you’re done using it, so you can stow it away and carry it with you, wherever you go. It was inspired by Japanese origami folding, and is made from six sections of thin plywood for the base, along with a shell made from hard plastic covered with foam and upholstered with wool felt.
The Fold Chair was designed by Nina Bruun.
