I’m a huge fan of outdoor activities, but for someone who’s really bad at pitching tents, the thought of having to do so just takes the fun out of the whole thing. Well, almost all the fun, that is. If you’re like me in any way when it comes to pitching tents, then you’ll be happy to hear about the Hemiplanet Cave.
It sounds pretty complicated for a tent, and once you see it, you’ll probably agree that the tent itself is a complex one. But putting up this confusing-looking thing is easier than you think: just hook it up to an air pump, turn the pump on, and voila: You’ve got a fully-functional tent in minutes!
The tent is comprised of inflatable TPU bladders and features a geodesic dome-like structure. It’s pretty roomy, too, as it can seat six and fit three sleeping adults. Because of it’s multi-chambered structure, the entire Cave won’t come a-tumbling down if ever one of the bladders is punctured. How’s that for security?
The Hemiplanet Cave can be purchased online for €499 (~$625 USD.)
