Guy Building a Full-Scale Model of the Millennium Falcon

 |  |  |  |  October 19, 2012

Yes, someone is building a full-scale model of the Millenium Falcon. Pure craziness! Or is it? If Chris Lee and his friends succeed, maybe someone can finally beat Han’s Kessel run record.

Yes, Chris and pals are building a 1:1 scale Millennium Falcon – both the interior and the exterior. They need all the help they can get. Just look how good the cockpit console looks so far. Over at FullScale Falcon you can check out the detailed building process as they make progress, and even help by buying a special project shirt.

One question. Suppose you do build a full scale Millennium Falcon. Where do you park the thing? You’d really need to build a hangar bay (or a giant asteroid) to house it in.
