With the frequency of sales and deals on Steam, everyone’s got a backlog on their account. That’s why your pet’s been so depressed lately. If you want to quantify just how much of your hobby you’ll have to work through, the website SteamLeft can help.

Just type in your Steam ID (or login to Steam) on SteamLeft and it will provide an estimate based on data from HowLongToBeat, along with a suggestion on how else you could spend that time.

As you can see I have a modest library. I barely play on my Mac and I’ve been in Sylvanas Windrunner mode lately. I’m sure many Steam users will be horrified – proud? – with their result. For example, Destructoid commenter Coil_Whine needs more than 2 years and 83 days to finish his backlog. By that time he’ll have accumulated enough games to double his sentence.
