Star Trek III Phaser Replica Goes Pew Pew Pew

Star Trek III Phaser Replica Goes Pew Pew Pew
Star Trek III fans, here is your sidearm. This is a replica of the phaser used in The Search for Spock. The phaser is a combination of two replicas with a removable Type 1 cricket phaser and a Type 2 pistol grip. That means you can cosplay two Star Trek weapons with one toy.

Sploot Game Lets you Poop on People

Sploot Game Lets you Poop on People
I view birds as the foul demons that they are – ready to crap on my car as soon as I clean it, typically right on the door handle. I also harbor an unhealthy fear that one of those birds will crap on me.

How Old School Video Game Graphics Worked

How Old School Video Game Graphics Worked
Check out part one of this new instructional video series, in which The iBookGuy explains how computer and video game graphics worked back in the 1980s. If you love old games and old computers, you’ll enjoy this video.

The Beast Large Format 3D Printer: Attack on Tight Times

The Beast Large Format 3D Printer: Attack on Tight Times
A new company called Cultivate3D has developed a large format 3D printer that won’t devour your budget. The Beast has a 470 x 435 x 690mm (~18.5 x 17.1 x 27.2″) build area in a single extruder setup, and can be equipped with up to four extruders for faster printing. Having up to four nozzles means you can print a single object faster, or print several smaller objects at once. The Beast also has a deft touch – its layer resolution can be set to below 100 microns for highly detailed prints. For its competitors, The Beast’s most fearsome quality just might be its price.

Don’t Stop Looking at the Weeping Angel String Lights

Don’t Stop Looking at the Weeping Angel String Lights
Doctor Who fans will know better than to take their eyes of this set of Weeping Angel string lights. They seem all nice, but sad at first glance. However, when you look away, they will get you.

Flying Kauji Otachi Will Carry off your Jaeger

Flying Kauji Otachi Will Carry off your Jaeger
Back in March, a version of Pacific Rim’s flying Kaiju Otachi turned up that wasn’t in flight mode. A new version of that Kaiju has landed as a 7-inch action figure that has its wings expanded and is taking flight. The coolest part is that the base of the action figure is designed to allow you to place one of your Jaeger action figures on its back like the Kaiju is trying to fly away with it. The action figure also has a removable tongue to give it acid spitting action.

Amiiqo Lets You Back Up 200 Amiibo: Amiiclone

Amiiqo Lets You Back Up 200 Amiibo: Amiiclone
Nintendo’s Amiibo line has been a big hit for the company so far, but a $50 (USD) device called Amiiqo could put a dent in their profits. It’s a shame, because Amiiqo does have legitimate and practical features.

POP! Harry Potter Vinyls: Funko Pertronum

POP! Harry Potter Vinyls: Funko Pertronum
Funko has added a full line of Harry Potter POP! Vinyl collectibles to its line and they are super cool. There are seven main characters from the franchise in the series, allowing you to act out your Harry Potter fantasies. You can get Harry, Hermione, Ron, Dumbledore, Hagrid, Voldemort, or Snape.

Turn Your Apple Watch into a Pocket Watch or a Pendant

Turn Your Apple Watch into a Pocket Watch or a Pendant
Sad about the Apple Watch? Did it disappoint you? Dropping a load of cash on a gadget like that can be perilous sometimes. But now that you have it, maybe you can do something cool with it.

Amazon Dash Button Hack: If This Then Dash

Amazon Dash Button Hack: If This Then Dash
Amazon’s new Dash Button lets Prime members order a product with a press of a button. You can think of it as a convenient tool or maybe a depressing metaphor. Cloudstitch CTO Ted Benson thought of it as a way to track his baby’s sleeping and pooping habits. Ted discovered that the Dash Button saves power by turning on only when pushed, which means it needs to connect to the local Wi-Fi network each time it’s activated.

Anodos RAL 9000 Robotic Lamp: Luxo Jr.’s Evil Twin

Anodos RAL 9000 Robotic Lamp: Luxo Jr.’s Evil Twin
Back in 2012 we checked out Pinokio, an attempt at making a real version of Pixar’s mascot Luxo Jr. Anodos’ upcoming robotic lamp also appears to have a playful personality, although its name and appearance make it much more creepy. Anodos hasn’t said much about the RAL 9000, but according to Engadget it has six cameras and other sensors that help it detect when someone’s nearby or when it’s no longer being used.

Jack Rack Amp Key Hanger: Rock out with Your Keys Out

Jack Rack Amp Key Hanger: Rock out with Your Keys Out
You can hang your keys on a plain hook or you can hang them like a rockstar. Which will you choose? To live like a rockstar obviously. All you have to do is get amped. Just install one of these Jack Rack amp shaped key hangers in your home and you will be like 100x cooler.

Stained Glass Claptrap Lamp: Borderlight

Stained Glass Claptrap Lamp: Borderlight
This stained glass Claptrap lamp is pretty awesome. I don’t think it will be as annoying as the in-game version of Borderlands’ topheavy robot. At least I hope so. He will actually do something useful, like provide you with light. It was created by artist Darke Solace, and it shows the video game robot in a whole new light.

Yoda Beanie: Keep Ears Warm, You Will

Yoda Beanie: Keep Ears Warm, You Will
Hailing from the humid, hot and swampy world of Dagobah, I figure that Yoda wouldn’t care much for the cold. I’m pretty sure this is why he didn’t meet Luke on Hoth to fight the Empire.

Millennium Falcon & AT-AT LED Lamps Only Have Light Sides

Millennium Falcon & AT-AT LED Lamps Only Have Light Sides
Thanks to their RGB LEDs, Hand make’s Millennium Falcon and AT-AT lamps can shine in your favorite lightsaber color. Well, probably not the obscure ones like brown or bronze. The lamps’ LEDs shine through the acrylic sheets, illuminating the carved design.

Star Wars Snow Globe Bluetooth Speakers: May the Frost Be With You

Star Wars Snow Globe Bluetooth Speakers: May the Frost Be With You
Here are some Star Wars collectibles I have not seen before. These aren’t your ordinary snow globes. They also happen to be Bluetooth speakers. May the snowstorm be with you. They come in Darth Vader, Threepio and Artoo, and Stormtrooper versions.
