LEGO is still the king of construction toys, but if Huzi gets its way, space aficionados will be able to make beautiful spaceships and heavenly bodies even if they’re not master builders.
Huzi’s Cosmos collection features large pieces made of large beech wood with a magnetic locking mechanism. It will launch with five sets: shuttle, rocket, satellite, lander and planet. Like other construction toys, you can mix and match the pieces across sets. That said the parts have few magnetic locks, so don’t expect Cosmos to be as flexible as its competitors.
Pledge at least $150 (USD) on Kickstarter to get all five sets as a reward. You can also get the sets individually from the lower reward tiers.
