The Longest Bicycle in the World

The Longest Bicycle in the World
Check out this ridiculously long bicycle. It was built by Mijil Van Mares Werkploeg, a cycling organization in the Netherlands. They built it specifically to get into the Guinness Book of World Records, and not because they like never being able to park their bike.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 Turns to Kickstarter for a Comeback

Mystery Science Theater 3000 Turns to Kickstarter for a Comeback
I used to watch my share of Mystery Science Theater 3000-suuuuuuund back in the day not because the movies were cool, but because I loved to hear the hosts bashing on the movies the whole time. I know many people felt the same way and fans are still out there.

This Giant LEGO TARDIS Is Brickier on the Inside
Check out this life-size LEGO TARDIS. Sadly, you can’t buy, but at least you can get a glimpse at what a life-size TARDIS looks like. It looks like the TARDIS only…brickier. This impressive life-size TARDIS turned up on Sydney famed Bondi Beach, and is on display in advance of Australia’s inaugural Doctor Who Festival. All it needs is a LEGO Doctor and it would be complete.

The HeLi-on is just 4.4″ long yet packs a battery and a long solar panel that rolls into its slim body, thanks to the company’s organic solar cell technology. infinityPV hasn’t mentioned the solar panel’s specs, but it claims that the flexible panel can fully charge HeLi-on’s 2600mAh battery in 2 to 3 hours under direct sunlight.

Guy Builds DIY Railgun Packing 27,000 Joules of Energy
See the guy in the image here, that sort of smirk on his face looks a bit to me like he isn’t sure if Homeland Security is going to show up on his doorstep any minute or not.

Fallout 4 Vault Dweller Costume: 111/10

Fallout 4 Vault Dweller Costume: 111/10
The Internet must be significantly quieter today, what with half the world playing Fallout 4, or at least staring at their monitors waiting for the game to be installed. But you and I can still partake in the fun, thanks to Baty Alquawen and her Vault Dweller cosplay. There’s a lot to love in these photos, which were taken by Lifestalking photography.

Every James Bond Gadget in One Video

Every James Bond Gadget in One Video
I’ve been a James Bond fan since I was a little kid. Growing up, James Bond was always Roger Moore, and the coolest gadget in all the franchise was the Lotus Esprit submarine from The Spy Who Loved Me.

Here’s a fun gift for archeology and history buffs. Dumb Cuneiform turns English tweets or any message with 140 characters or less into cuneiform inscriptions on actual clay tablets. Your thoughts on pumpkin spice will be immortalized.

Look out! Here Comes the Samurai Spider-Man!

Look out! Here Comes the Samurai Spider-Man!
If Spider-Man was clad in the armor of an ancient Samurai, would he still be able to do whatever a spider can? I mean, I don’t see his sticky fingers working through those gauntlets. Regardless, I love samurai and think the idea is awesome for this Marvel Movie Realization action figure. Samurai Spidey was spotted by Den-Obi-Wan Kenobi swinging one of those awesome grappling hooks, which Spider-Man wouldn’t need today, thanks to Peter Parker’s ingenuity.

Wooden Macintosh 128K Replica: The Golden Apple
While Love Hultén’s retro-futuristic wooden machines are inspired by past gadgets, they usually still end up being distinct and fresh. But for one of his recent projects, Love opted to make a straight up replica of a classic computer. Love’s The Golden Apple is a life-size replica of Apple’s original Macintosh 128K.

Tickle Me Elmo Gets Roasted by a Jet Engine: Melt Me Elmo
If you’re a parent, you have probably been annoyed by many a Tickle Me Elmo toy. Those talking versions are downright evil. Even if you aren’t a parent who has been subjected to said torture, you’ll enjoy this video of Elmo being burned at the stake in a very modern way. This video from Youtuber PowerModz shows Tickle Me Elmo getting blasted with a jet engine that’s been mounted on the back of a truck.

Right now you can either design your own connector or look for existing designs, but a group of researchers have created a third option: have a computer figure it out for you. Made by Yuki Koyama, Shinjiro Sueda, Emma Steinhardt, Takeo Igarashi, Ariel Shamir and Wojciech Matusik, AutoConnect is an application that generates 3D models for a connector.
