Star Wars 3D Holodisplay Needs No 3D Glasses

 |  |  |  February 12, 2016

Here’s something that is pretty darn cool for fans of Star Wars. This gizmo is called the Star Wars 3D Holodisplay. Basically it’s a desktop device that brilliantly illuminates holograms of scenes from the movies.

The display uses full-parallax tech, and the lighting and angle are fixed for viewing.

The scene is illuminated by a bright 107 lumen LED and a pair of 6 lumen LEDs. The $249.99(USD) gadget includes a hologram of the Trench Run scene from A New Hope, and you can add on a hologram of Kylo Ren from The Force Awakens for another $129.99. It’s available for pre-order from ThinkGeek now, with shipping starting this March.
