Star Wars 3D Holodisplay Needs No 3D Glasses

Here’s something that is pretty darn cool for fans of Star Wars. This gizmo is called the Star Wars 3D Holodisplay. Basically it’s a desktop device that brilliantly illuminates holograms of scenes from the movies.

The display uses full-parallax tech, and the lighting and angle are fixed for viewing.

The scene is illuminated by a bright 107 lumen LED and a pair of 6 lumen LEDs. The $249.99(USD) gadget includes a hologram of the Trench Run scene from A New Hope, and you can add on a hologram of Kylo Ren from The Force Awakens for another $129.99. It’s available for pre-order from ThinkGeek now, with shipping starting this March.
