Arpeggio Robotic Piano Player Tickles the Ivories

 |  |  |  |  March 9, 2017

Arpeggio is an impressive self-driven robotic player piano system developed by Nick Morris of Majestic Pianoworks. This robot performs at a virtuoso level and it actually does so while sitting at the piano, just like a human does. Sorry musicians, he taking your job.

Arpeggio can be programmed with a wide range of styles and can even convey the emotion of a song. The robot simply parks itself in front of a piano and can play the keyboard as well and pedals.

It plays everything from the classics to jazz and contemporary. It can play just about any style of music. There are going to be many unemployed pianists because of this robot. Sad.
