Vycle Is a Pedal Powered Elevator

Do you want the convenience of an elevator, with the workout of climbing stairs? Vycle is a bike that is also an elevator. A bike-avator? An ele-biker?

Creators Elena Larriba and Jon Garcia have created a pedal-powered elevator alternative that helps you get in shape as you travel between floors. Honestly, America needs this, since we are all a bunch of lard-butts. Vycle has a gearing system that makes it easy to carry your own weight between floors by just pedaling. So, while it is work, it isn’t super exhausting. You can choose different gears to change how quickly you ascend or descend. Maybe we can have vertical gyms that are full of these things. It makes me tired just watching this thing in action in the video below:

As long as it isn’t installed in skyscrapers, it seems like a cool idea. Honestly, America needs this, since we are all a bunch of lard-butts. Or maybe I’ll just take the stairs.
