Choken Bako Dog Bank Will Eat Anything That’S Put on Its Bowl

Choken Bako Dog Bank Will Eat Anything That’S Put on Its Bowl
The Choken-Bako dog bank features a hyperactive dog for a teller. Just place your money on its bowl and it will “eat” it. Actually there’s a slot on the bowl that’s connected to the coin box; the dog’s mouth just pushes the money into the slot. I don’t think the dog cares exactly what it is that’s placed on its bowl, it’ll eat it anyway.

Sushi Train Restaurant and Game: Sushinkansen

Sushi Train Restaurant and Game: Sushinkansen
Compared to all the other Japanese gadgets we’ve seen, the Sushi Train Restaurant and Game is only mildly Japanese – i.e. not so weird. It’s a literal take on the popular conveyor belt sushi restaurants, which are also known as – wait for it – sushi trains.

Lite-Brite Cubed: Makin’ Things With Light 4x

Lite-Brite Cubed: Makin’ Things With Light 4x
I have fond memories of playing with a Lite-Brite when I was growing up. As a matter of fact, I can’t get that damned commercial out of my head at the moment. Of course, most of those childhood memories were those of frustration from either losing half of the colored pegs between the couch cushion, or my complete inability to create anything other than the barely legible text “Lite Brite” made up of pegs.

Parajet Skycar Now Available for Pre-Order, Governments May Need to Prepare Driving-Flying Licences

Parajet Skycar Now Available for Pre-Order, Governments May Need to Prepare Driving-Flying Licences
Why have I not read about this before? The ParaJet SkyCar, invented by Giles Cardozo, is the world’s first street legal FLYING CAR. As in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Flying Car, except that it uses a nylon “Paramenia Reflex” wing to control its flight.

Start a Fire With Style – Pac-Man Style

Start a Fire With Style – Pac-Man Style
If you have to have a lighter, it might as well be a Zippo… and if you have to have a Zippo, it might as well have Pac-Man on it. This is logic, people, born of science.

Darth Vader Lightsaber Flashlight: Let the Dark Side Light Your Path

Darth Vader Lightsaber Flashlight: Let the Dark Side Light Your Path
The Darth Vader lightsaber flashlight is equipped with 4 LED lights and has various authentic sound effects. I guess that’s all a lightsaber can do in the hands of mere mortals. I’m also wondering if the red light is any good for illumination, or for adding a sense of dread on dark nights.

Star Wars Mighty Muggs Vinyl Figures: 3 Darths and a Solo

Star Wars Mighty Muggs Vinyl Figures: 3 Darths and a Solo
I’m no Star Wars fan, so I wouldn’t know if there’s any canonical reason for Hasbro to bundle Mighty Muggs figures of Darth Vader, Darth Maul and Darth Revan (of KotOR fame) together with … Han Solo in a Hoth hoodie. All I can think of is that people will be so weirded out after they purchase this that they’ll feel compelled to buy the other, similarly randomly packaged Mighty Muggs.

Laser Airzooka Gets Precision Aim

Laser Airzooka Gets Precision Aim
If you’ve ever played with an Airzooka, you know how much fun it can be to blow away your office-mates without actually causing any real harm. Now you can have a much better shot at hitting your victims with a perfect blast of air, thanks to a built-in laser pointer. Just flip on the red laser pointer, take aim, and fire a huge ball of air at your buddies, scattering their TPS reports everywhere.

Remote-Controlled Rat: Because You Can Never have Enough Rodents

Remote-Controlled Rat: Because You Can Never have Enough Rodents
Live in a rat-infested fleabag of an apartment? Well even if you don’t, you can still scare the beejezus out of your roommates with your very own remote-controlled rat. With its light-up red eyeballs, I wouldn’t necessarily call this rat-on-wheels “lifelike”.

Test Your Child’s Bravery With the Monster Stroller

Test Your Child’s Bravery With the Monster Stroller
You probably know by now that young Spartans proved their worth by being beaten up senseless and killing – or being killed by – comically large wolves. We modern men are not as barbaric; we’re content with having our babies ride cyclops-head strollers. This extremely detailed monstrosity is from Elmer Presslee, house of weird furniture and art.

Sony Patents Their Part of the Motion-Controlled Future

Sony Patents Their Part of the Motion-Controlled Future
Move over, Project Natal and Wii-mote: here comes Sony, trying to break into the let’s-make-it-real movement with a new patent for image-scanning with their EyeToy camera. Oh, did you think I meant their oddly-shaped wand controller from E3?

Swinxs “Game Console” Gives Kids Real Controller-Free Gaming

Swinxs “Game Console” Gives Kids Real Controller-Free Gaming
One of the more valid complaints against playing video games is that it sometimes makes us forget how fun it is to play outdoors, or interact with other people directly, not in front of a monitor or TV.
