Halloween is still a month away, but I think it’s never too early to begin stocking up on ideas for awesome and unique costumes. At least this way, you can avoid dressing up as a slutty whatever if you don’t find anything good at the costume rental shop anymore.

Alicia Scantlin spread the Skyrim mania to her pets, crocheting Dragonborn and stegosaurus dragon costumes for her dogs. Internet, I am disappoint. Where are the Atlas and P-body dog costumes?

Seriously though, this is impressive stuff. John Salvo, who together with a friend made a couple of iPhone 3GS costumes last year, took the next step and built himself an iPhone 4 costume, complete with a 40″ LCD touchscreen panel.

Well, Halloween is coming up this weekend, and if you are a geek and you don’t have a Halloween costume yet, we have a few sweet ones to show you. Some of these things are so awesome it’s crazy.
