Microsoft showed up at E3 2017 armed with its latest weapon in the console gaming wars. Formerly codenamed Xbox Scorpio, Microsoft claims that the Xbox One X is the most powerful console system ever, and certainly in terms of raw specifications, it sounds like it.
Before today’s press conference, Microsoft Xbox chief Phil Spencer promised “we are dedicating our entire briefing to games” and unlike last year’s attempt to win our living rooms as an entertainment hub, all but one minute of today’s 90 minute press conference was dedicated to gaming.
At tonight’s pre-E3 press conference, Sony finally showed off the physical hardware for the PS4. Sure, we already know a whole lot about the next-gen PlayStation’s specs and capabilities, but it’s always nice to have a piece of actual hardware to ogle.

Gamestop is now listing a pre-order release date of January 1, 2008, along with a $69.99 retail price, including the required Balance Board peripheral.
Nintendo today revealed Wii Fit, a new “game” for the Wii that’s all about fitness. What’s interesting about this is the new controller that ships with the game.
The small, flat controller, called the “Wii Balance Board,” lays on the ground and detects your body movements as you exercise.
A while back, I showed you a 3rd-party Wii Light Gun controller add-on. Now Nintendo has revealed their own controller accessory, called the Wii Zapper.
The new controller has an interesting design the provides a cradle for both the Wii-mote and the Nunchuk controller.
There’s an image circulating around the web this morning showing what looks suspiciously like a GRAY Xbox 360 model.
Notice the console on the far left is decidedly darker in appearance than the white models in the middle.
The rumor mill has started to buzz about what we might see from the big console players at the upcoming E3 conference, scheduled for July 11 to 13, 2007.
According to a forums post over on Wii60, a person claiming to be a “Floor Manager” for the show has revealed the following items as some of the key items that Microsoft will show for their Xbox 360 console:

Microsoft have bought the Star Wars Battlefront 3 rights.
