This may just look like your average cheap plastic iPhone 4 case, but under its Good and Plenty pink and black color scheme, this inexpensive add-on actually turns your iPhone 4 into a glasses-free 3D display.
There are only a few 3D movies that I’ve seen that were actually worth it. Most of the others were somewhat disappointing, but check out this PMP that’s supposed to do 3D without any glasses. It’s called the Gadmei P83 PMP from Marvel Digital, and hopefully it won’t harm your eyes when you use it, because we’ve all recently heard the (not so) shocking news that 3D isn’t good for your eyes.
Glasses-free 3D is the “next-big thing” in display technology. Of course, nobody has really created the perfect glasses-free display yet, but the quality had improved by leaps and bounds in even the last year. Now, SEGA has announced they’ll be releasing an arcade game with a 52-inch 3D glasses-free display.
Bigger screens are the way to go. I just can’t wait to have a screen that’s the size of my whole living room wall. Although this seems like science-fiction, it might not be because NICT has unveiled a 200-inch glasses-free 3D screen that might actually make me want to watch 3D stuff.
Sales of 3D TVs for the home have not been that great. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out the reasons why. The 3D TVs on the market right now are expensive, and the active glasses most of them require are expensive too.
