Ever since the Kinect Star Wars game’s Galactic Dance Off mode was announced, we’ve had reason to worry about this title. While I love the idea of tearing up the streets of Tatooine as the Rancor, I knew that it would be bad after I saw Slave Leia dancing and then Stormtroopers.

Man, when I was a kid, crayons pretty much only came in one kind – sticks in a box, wrapped with paper. As a matter of fact, that’s how I learned the word “periwinkle.” And what was with the white crayon in the box?

While George Lucas would like us all to forget Han Solo did shoot first when confronted by Greedo, at least we have a memento to remember it by. I only wish that when I needed to solder some electronic parts together, I had a soldering gun this cool.

The next time Jabba is out kicking it with some hotties and bad guys on his sand barge, I bet he could use this ice cube tray for his cocktails. The tray has a little molds of Han Solo in carbonite molded into it.

If I could freeze whatever I wanted in carbonite, I’d do it, just because it would look cool. Sure, it might be unpleasant for the freezing victim, but Han Solo didn’t seem any worse for wear between Episode V and Episode VI.

Any geek knows that Jabba’s prized possession (other than a bikini clad Leia) was Han Solo encased in carbonite. That is one of the most iconic scenes from The Empire Strikes Back. Someone has taken that carbonite Solo and recreated it grandma-style.

Jabba the Hutt would easily pay twice what he did for Han Solo if he was made of peanut butter and bacon and was encased in “CandyBaronite”.

Remember that guy who made that duct tape AT-AT? Well, he’s just listed another Star Wars item. This new listing is for a Millennium Falcon that’s made out of cardboard, Styrofoam, and aluminum tape. That makes it all shiny. This new eBay listing was also made by Komanac for the local art show, Star Wars 33 & 1/3 Anniversary.

These new Mimobot flash drives look pretty cool because when they are not in use, they look like stormtroopers. When you take off the helmet to plug it in to your computer, you’ll find either Luke Skywalker or Han Solo hiding beneath. There’s also an extra cap so that you can play with Luke and Han Solo without the stormtrooper masks, but I think the stormtrooper helmet is much better than hair.

This bar of soap is perfect for any Star Wars fan. Han Solo is more than a scoundrel, since he’s been frozen in carbonite and ready to lather up to clean your various bits. From the photos that I’ve seen, this is a pretty good likeness of Solo frozen in carbonite from Empire Strikes Back.

Etsy seller/Jedi Crafter LucyRavenscar is selling crochet patterns that will allow any Padawan with a crochet hook to create these pint-sized amigurumi of popular Star Wars characters.

In a galaxy far, far away, tuna proved more powerful than any Force. It brought peace and joy to all. Enemies put down their lightsabers and sat down to enjoy a meal together. There was much dancing and posing and who the hell is that dude in the back supposed to be?

I’m no Star Wars fan, so I wouldn’t know if there’s any canonical reason for Hasbro to bundle Mighty Muggs figures of Darth Vader, Darth Maul and Darth Revan (of KotOR fame) together with … Han Solo in a Hoth hoodie. All I can think of is that people will be so weirded out after they purchase this that they’ll feel compelled to buy the other, similarly randomly packaged Mighty Muggs.

So maybe it won’t make the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, but this Millennium Falcon sled should take you down the neighborhood snow mound in 10 seconds flat. The colorful snow sled doesn’t have the battle scars that the real Falcon has seen, but I’m sure after a few wipeouts (or laser cannon blasts from your neighbor with the personal TIE Fighter), you’ll have it looking pretty close.

I spotted this awesome Star Wars bedding for kids recently and thought, why do kids always get the fun stuff? Why am I stuck with some boring monochrome Calvin Klein crap when kids get to sleep on Leia and Chewie and the gang?

Creative lass Zhaddi made this cross-stitch of the famous Han Solo quote for a contest that called for a crafty reinterpretation of a favorite quote. She describes it as “the perfect chance to blend my geeking and crafting.” I have but one tiny critique, which is that I believe the actual quote is “Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid,” but why split hairs when we’re talking about a masterwork such as this?
