Robot Infographic: Know Your Future Masters

Robot Infographic: Know Your Future Masters
The guys at Online Schools scoured the Internet to come up with a lengthy but entertaining infographic about robots. It contains a lot of quiz show-type trivia, like the fact that the earliest known robot was a steam powered one, invented in 400 BC, that most robots are cow milkers, or that people who own a Roomba often clean their floors before putting the little spoiled brat to work.

Web Browsers Illustrated

Web Browsers Illustrated
Caldwell Tanner is a cartoonist for College Humor and he made this great little cartoon comparing the different browsers to their equivalent modes of transportation… I found this hilarious, especially when I saw what he chose to represent Firefox.

God of War III Nutrition Facts: Now With More Arterial Spray!
Somehow, I managed to miss the fine print on the front of the God of War III box cover.

Robots No Follow: Perfect T-Shirt for Paranoid People and Search Engine Optimization

Robots No Follow: Perfect T-Shirt for Paranoid People and Search Engine Optimization
Now being in the full-time business of building websites, this t-shirt has extra special meaning for me. But even if you don’t know HTML, META tags or SEO from a hole in the ground, it’s still a funny design, assuming you’ve ever been worried about some sort of impending robot attack.

Iron Man by Design: Judge These Books by Their Covers

Iron Man by Design: Judge These Books by Their Covers
Next month, Marvel will release a slew of comic books with alternate covers that feature different renditions of Iron Man. Marvel calls its gimmick Iron Man by Design, and oddly enough, none of the books are Iron Man titles.

Space Invaders 2: the Earth Strikes Back

Space Invaders 2: the Earth Strikes Back
Looks like those pesky Space Invaders finally got what was coming to them…

The Notorious P.a.C. (Man)

The Notorious P.a.C. (Man)
Who knew that Pac-Man had a side-gig as the baddest East Coast rapper you’ve ever seen? At least that’s what DocPop would like us to think in his watercolor illustration titled The Notorious P.A.C, commissioned by for nerdcore rapper Beefy by his girlfriend.

Super Apple Brothers: It’S a-Me! iPad!

Super Apple Brothers: It’S a-Me! iPad!
I’ve discovered the reason why it took Apple so long to come up with the iPad. They had to learn how to farm Super Mushrooms first.

Iphad: Turn Your iPhone Into an iPad

Iphad: Turn Your iPhone Into an iPad
Technabob pal Metin Seven of Sevens Heaven just tipped us off tho his hilarious original illustration that pretty much sums up all the hype (and disappointment) about the Apple iPad in a single image. I’d like to see you guys try and fit this thing in your pocket.

3d Video Game Pixel Art by Sevens Heaven is 8-Bit Heaven

3d Video Game Pixel Art by Sevens Heaven is 8-Bit Heaven
I’m just going to get this out of the way up front. I LOVE these 3D pixel illustrations of classic video games by artist Metin Seven of Sevens Heaven, and I want an entire wall covered with them.

LEGO Control Concept: Why Did It Take So Long to Come Up With This?

LEGO Control Concept: Why Did It Take So Long to Come Up With This?
Of all of the universal remotes out there, this LEGO-brick-inspired concept design is my new favorite.

Pac-Man on Twitter

Pac-Man on Twitter
What would happen if Pac-Man was on twitter? A whole lot of trouble, that’s what. I laughed my ass off when I saw this hysterical illustration by Scott Hampson. Scott, will you please make T-shirts out of these?

Tetris Machine: the Blocks Get Real

Tetris Machine: the Blocks Get Real
This collaboration between UK mixed-media artist Chrissie MacDonald and photographer Dominic Lee envisions what Tetris might look like on some newfangled 3-dimensional computing platform that uses physical blocks to let you play the classic Russian puzzler.

Pac-Man Art Shows Life Outside the Maze

Pac-Man Art Shows Life Outside the Maze
I always wondered what Pac-Man and his entourage did when they weren’t busy chasing each other around that maze. Thanks to the wacky and warped mind of illustrator Scott Campbell, we finally get a glimpse of Pac ‘N Pals outside the confines of their familiar corridors.

Superbrothers Pixel Art: Super Retro Goodness

Superbrothers Pixel Art: Super Retro Goodness
After spending the last 7 days straight looking at the hyper-real 3D environments of Grand Theft Auto IV, don’t you long for the blocky 8-bit goodness of days gone by? Eh, maybe not when it comes to gaming, but when it comes to retro gaming art, I definitely have a soft spot for the pixelated stuff.

8-Bit Video Game Art by Jimi Benedict

8-Bit Video Game Art by Jimi Benedict
You may think you know Mario and Zelda, but you’ve never seen them like this. Artist Jimi Benedict (a.k.a. “Jimiyo”) created these 8-bit game inspired images which combine the pixel-blocky forms of the game’s original characters with a surreal mix of natural textures and literal illustration styles.
