Today, digital cameras rule, but many people still enjoy the look and tactile feel of Polaroids. Lomography’s Lomo’Instant Automat Camera aims to revive instant photography for modern users. Think of it as a smart instant camera.
Are you one of the many that were saddened by the demise of Polaroid’s classic instant cameras? Well they’ve just released information about their new digital instant camera, that includes a printer so that you can print out all of your snapshots wherever you are.
If you find digital cameras too easy to use and too mainstream for your liking and wish that you could get an old Polaroid camera instead, then Urban Outfitters is the place to go. They are selling a limited edition of Polaroid cameras right now.
Although Polaroid already has the PoGo – a digital camera that can also print pictures instantly – the upcoming PIC 1000 is the more faithful successor to their classic instant cameras. Not only does the PIC 1000 have the famous Polaroid body, the pictures it prints also features the classic white borders, thanks to the revival of good old Polaroid Color 600 instant film.
Remember the PoGo? That’s Polaroid’s modern-day take on their classic instant cameras. The PoGo lets users edit pics before printing them, or you could save the pics and upload them to a computer later on. Fuji’s Instax instant camera has half of the functionality of the PoGo at half the price, which seems like a fair trade at first glance, plus the Instax looks way cuter than the PoGo.
