Bioshock is still one of my favorite games of the last decade, so I was disappointed to hear that Bioshock 3 had been delayed until February 2013. At least I’ve got something to cheer me up for a few minutes of the extended wait.
Gamers and Escher go well together. The artist’s famous lithograph Relativity looked even more impossible – and way more lethal – when converted into a Portal level. But Redditor/miner of crafts/illusion-breaker bergenco takes the same lithograph and makes it make sense.
As if turrets and lasers were not troublesome enough, Kasper Filipsen adds multiple gravity wells into the equation in this dizzying M.C. Escher-inspired Portal scene. It’s a stage only GLaDOS could love.
I’ll try and keep this one pretty short and sweet. Now that I’ve seen this video clip of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past with the small addition of an Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device, I can never envision playing the game without one.
