The first act of cruelty that some parents inflict on their children is giving them weird names or names that they can never live down. For example, magician Penn Jillette named his daughter Moxie Crimefighter. There’s also that actor, Jason Lee, who named his son Pilot Inspektor.

Looks like Samsung has a couple of new display lines in the works, to be sold under the “Echo P” and “X Series” product line names. I just spotted these on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification list.

I was checking out the App Store to see if anyone had already been releasing updates for their applications to take advantage of the larger screen on the new Apple iPad, and much to my surprise, I found this: Apparently, a company called Groove Systems has been selling an application in the App Store called “iPad” since sometime back in late 2009.
