These unusual robots were featured on the oddly named Russian website Ribbon Comedy Eye Girls. For some reason, the title of the site makes me think of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Although these robots made from found objects don’t really function (other than maybe lighting up), they are intriguing.

Ron Bell has been a cinematographer for 25 years, but in his spare time he likes to play with bones. And copper. And aluminum. And glass. What does he do with all these components? Why, he constructs “osteomechanic” sculptures, of course!
