Custom 3D Printable Elden Ring Chess Set

With over 17 years of writing experience, Jonathan has had a passion for all things tech-related, ever since watching Inspector Gadget as a child. He's disassembled countless appliances and managed to put a few back together, and one still works. When not writing, he can often be found playing video games or accidentally hurting himself in the garage.

Designed by 3D artist Noggi, this chess set features characters from Elden Ring’s Lands Between. I thought I recognized that knight! Granted, I was hoping I wouldn’t run into him again after he repeatedly killed me in the game, but my luck has never been that good.

Noggi designed each piece from the ground up with 3D modeling program Blender. Iron Fist Alexander (aka Alexander, Warrior Jar) serves as the pawns, the tortoise Miriel Pastor of Vows as bishops, the Walking Mausoleum as rooks, the Tree Sentinel as knights, Godfrey the First Elden Lord as kings, and Queen Marika as the queens.

Noggi has made the digital files available for download on his Patreon for $10, so you can print your own set if you desire. He even designed all the pieces with bases to fit on a regulation board. Now, I just need to learn how to play chess. If it’s anything like Chutes and Ladders, though, I’m going to be a natural.
