Xtremexperience Lets You Drive Exotic Supercars Near You

With over 17 years of writing experience, Jonathan has had a passion for all things tech-related, ever since watching Inspector Gadget as a child. He's disassembled countless appliances and managed to put a few back together, and one still works. When not writing, he can often be found playing video games or accidentally hurting himself in the garage.

Xtremexperience offers supercar driving experiences with scheduled drives in and around 40 locations across the U.S., providing the opportunity for every lead-footed car lover to drive one of the cars of their dreams. I mean, unless the car of your dreams is a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport, in which case I’ve got you covered.

Most of the dates and locations are at existing racetracks, although some locations also offer the opportunity to take a driving tour on the open road. Prices start at around $200, but expect to pay in the $300 to $400 range for one of the nicer exotics. Those prices include three to four laps on the track, including a classroom instructional session and a pro driver sitting in the passenger seat to guide you. They also offer hot laps with pro drivers starting at $79.

The open-road tours are more expensive, starting at $499 for an hour and costing as much as $2899 for a full day of driving. Cars include the Ferrari 296 GTB, Ferrari 488 GTB, Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4, Porsche 911 GT3, Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS, Audi R8 V10, and more. I want to drive one of those Porsches right into my garage. Or, okay, apartment parking space.

I’ve actually always wanted to do this, and I’m hoping when my wife sees this post, she’ll get a brilliant Christmas gift idea. I mean, there’s no way I’m only getting socks and undershirts again this year, right? Right, dear?! Surely, I have enough already.
