Ahhhhh, the great outdoors. Just you and the sunshine, nature, fresh air, and… all your electronic gear? Well, it is truly possible to have it all with this solar powered digital survival kit. It comes with a 3800mAh rechargeable solar battery to keep your phone (or other preferred device) running and 12 different adapters (check for yours first in the photo before ordering!). Also included are a compass, a watch and, if all that isn’t enough, an LED flashlight for nighttime illumination.

All this thing needs now is a pop up dutch oven and a recorded lesson in how to discern the difference between brown bear vs. black bear attacks, and I am so buying this thing.
Available for US $33.26 at DealExtreme.

Wow not that is freaking cool for anyone who camps a lot or is on the road a lot or in remote areas on a regular basis.
Mike,
I agree with you…this is quite amazing. Wow!
Does anyone know whether it needs to be sunny to operate this? I live in the Pacific Northwest, so there’s only a few days I’d be able to use it if it required sunshine. (:
Thanks.
don’t buy it.
I have one and the quality and workmanship of it was very poor.
I wouldn’t trust it to run your valuable electronic equipment.
That’s too bad. But in an emergency, I’d rather have something to try than nothing.
This is really useful for people who travel a lot.. complete it with a world adapter and you’re all set. In various parts of the world, you just won’t know what kinds of power output you’re going to get. Will be great if it also comes with a solar panel.
