Star Trek Stockings for All the Good Federation Girls and Boys

by Alisha K.

Not only is this one of the more creative Christmas projects we’ve seen around here, it’s one of the cheapest–something that may very well appeal to those of us saving up for new (electronic!) toys. Also? It’s hard to argue with Star Trek.

Thanks to the use of a free pattern, Craftster forum member Ilia was able to complete these two rockin’ Federation stockings for less than five bucks. It’s even harder to argue with results like that than it is to argue with Star Trek.

However, as one other member commented… red shirt stockings just don’t seem destined for good gifts. Watch and make sure that one doesn’t end up in the fireplace or something.
