Razer TRON Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Will Up Your Geek Cred

by Shane McGlaun

I will say that my favorite Disney movie from my youth hands down is Tron. That was a cool flick and the only thing I really remember Jeff Bridges from. With the new Tron:Legacy film set to hit theaters you can count on lots of product tie-ins for the flick.

Among those tie ins will be the inevitable toys and action figures along with a plethora of Tron gaming controllers for consoles. Razer is also offering up Tron gaming peripherals for PC gamers. The new Tron collection sports the glowing blue lines that are required for anything Tron.

The peripherals include a keyboard with programmable keys and macro recording capability. The keyboard also sports a detachable number pad. Razer is also going to offer a gaming mouse with a 3.5G gaming sensor and 5600 dpi sensitivity. The gear will cost $79 to $139 (USD) when it lands later this year.

I can’t believe you don’t remember Jeff Bridges as The Dude in The Big Lebowski. His greatest performance ever.

Technically, I wasn’t a kid anymore when that flick came out. I think I was in high school then. I do remember him from Starman around the Tron era too now that I think about it.

As long as this comes in extra colors BESIDES blue, I will be ecstatic. Do want classic yellow/orange TRON glow! :D

Or maybe green. I dunno why, but I’m just not that big of a fan of blue. :/
