Lady Gaga’s $460,000 Urinal (Say What?)

There are some things in this world that are hard to understand, but it’s been that way for so long that people really have no choice but to, well, understand it. For example, why are some totally trivial or ordinary things so expensive? And why are there people who would actually pay good money for this stuff?

Cases in point? The $100,000 Brikk iPhone 4 Case or the $34,000+ dessert.

The newest thing to add to the list is this $460,000 urinal. And what makes it so special and “worth” a crazy amount of money is because it’s signed by Lady Gaga herself. (I added quotation marks around the word “worth” because, in this case, worth is a relative term and it’s really dependent on the person to assess the value of something.)

Here’s some more info about the urinal:

The man toilet was used in a Gaga photo shoot for Vogue Homme in Japan, though it’s highly doubtful the pop star actually used it. The Lady donated the urinal to showstudio.com, a fashion website that is trying to hock it for just under half a million dollars.

And what, exactly, has the star written on the urinal? “I’m not a f**king king Duchamp but I love p**sing with you.”
