Car-shaped House: I Call Shotgun

by Conner Flynn

This car has lots of trunk space, it’s own parking spot and it is roomy. It’s everything that you want in a car, except for actually moving.

This odd car home is located in Salzburg, Austria. Markus Voglreiter designed it to house two generations of the same family. It’s an incredible design. It looks small, but it is large enough to comfortably house two generations of families in two separate portions of the home.

It also features sustainable technologies and energy saving systems. Too bad it doesn’t drive. This is what RVs should be like. Can you imagine being on the road in an actual house like this? Pretty awesome work. Hit the link above for more images of the interior.

Not only did they design a car home, but also a car restaurant. See many more photos and information about these at http://ifitshipitshere.blogspot.com/2010/07/car-house-and-restaurant-inspired-by-vw.html
