We all know the slogan for pork – The Other White Meat. Apparently, the legal firm retained by the National Pork Board, Faegre & Benson, has zero sense of humor and taken offense to a fake product ThinkGeek has on their website.
Not that this idea is really good for anything other than looking cool, you’ve gotta hand it to these Japanese researchers, who have managed to create a special tank which can momentarily suspend illustrations in water.
Okay, it really wouldn’t help me score less than a 35 handicap, but this Batman golf cart would definitely cheer me up the next time I four-putt, or can’t hit past the ladies’ tee box. This his undeniably great Tumbler-inspired golf cart was recently spotted on the Warner Bros.
I’m not one to worry about germs. If you sneeze on me, I am more worried about the snot that might land on me than I am any germs making me sick too. While everyone was checking out all the shiny new games at E3, we somehow missed this oddity. The guys at Namco Bandai are working on a brand new Pac-Man TV show. And it’s no ordinary 2D stuff, it’s got a whopping 3, count ’em, 3 dimensions.
Hitachi just unveiled an updated version of its humanoid robot, the EMIEW2. This interesting acronym stands for Excellent Mobility and Interactive Existence as Workmate2, which probably sounds way better in Japanese.
The number of just plain stupid gadgets that you can buy and connect to your USB port is bewildering. The new Pepper Mouth concept gadget is one of the dumbest I have seen though. It assumes we want to stop calling the idiots we talk to on IM or in chat session’s names and cursing at them.
I’ve never really had the patience to create an elaborate sand sculpture. At best, I’ve created simple little castles. However, these sculptures are anything but simple. Check out these amazing ephemeral Star Wars sculptures created in sand.
At the recently concluded E3 2010, GadgetReview spotted an interesting product from a company called GAEMS – not a typo, it stands for Gaeming Gaming and Entertainment Mobile Systems. GAEMS showed off an Xbox-360 compatible suitcase that’s equipped with a 15-in 720p LCD screen and “a whole mess of speakers”.
